Monolith House
A single-volume concrete residence set into a coastal ridge — no ornament, no corners you can argue with. The landscape does the decorating.

Monolith House is a 380-square-metre concrete monolith cantilevered over the Pacific. The client wanted a house that would photograph identically in forty years, so we stripped the palette to board-formed concrete, glass and the horizon.
We directed the architectural visualizations, curated the native planting, and produced the press suite that introduced the house to the world — twelve images, one page of text, no renders of the render.
